Oh Stop It!!!!

Ok, I may be biased, but are these not the cutest pictures ever??? I took them today the blankets were gifts so I was going to take Molly's pic on them and send them with the thank you notes and I was shocked at how someone was in such a good mood, actually two someones! So, I told Turner to jump in and as you can see, Molly already loves her big brother to death! I can't believe that at only 6 weeks old she already thinks he hung the moon and follows him with her eyes all around the room. She's doing so good and such a doll baby! She's the best, hardly ever cries, seems like we are on an every other night schedule. She will go to bed about 12pm one night then the next night seems to be up anywhere from 1am to 3am. I hate the 3am nights! Turner is still doing great with her and gets jealous every now and then, just wanting attention, the expected. He still hates to hear her cry. He thinks she is hurt or somethings wrong, not that she's just hungry or wet. I guess God knew to make my 2nd a very quiet one since my 1st apparently can't handle it!
Ok, there's my update and fun new pics!!!

Molly's a Month Old!!!!

So what child loves bathtime at 4 weeks old?? Mine.
What child loses her hair on the top of her head first, not the back? Mine.
What child likes to stay awake from 11pm-2am or 3am? Again, Mine.
What child loves the sound of her daddy's voice? Still, Mine.
What child does not flinch at a dog barking or her brother yelling and screaming? Yep, still Mine.
What child is a perfect little angel? I don't know, you tell me???

Just Kidding of course, Molly is an angel, and hardly ever ever cries! Seriously, you can ask my parents who were here for a week! She's great and she's ours! I went to get a picture of her and Turner but he was already asleep in his bed, he was up and down last night more than Molly was. Go figure? Just when I'd fall asleep from giving her a bottle, he would come in our room crying that he couldn't sleep? Since he's asleep now, he'll probably be wide awake at 6am tomorrow.
Turner still hates to see/hear her cry, he doesn't understand that she's not hurt or sad, she's just hungry or wet. It's pretty cute. Me, Turner and Molly were all laying in his bed trying to get brother to go to sleep and he leans over and gave her the sweetest kiss. Almost brought me to tears-sure it was the postpartum or something. Well, then Molly starts squirming and just acting like she had some big place to go. So Turner says, ok, love you mom, night night, you can go back in your room with Molly now!
It was so funny. It is definetly harder with two, not that I need to tell you all that. Just running into a store is not an option anymore, I really weigh whether I need that 1 item or not...usually not. Night time is a blast, everyone getting showers, cleaning the kitchen from dinner, getting everyone fed and happy, and then the fighting about bedtime begins; and I do mean Johnny also. Still we can't complain, everyone is great, happy, and actually both kids are asleep! So, what am I doing awake?

Two Good Stories-all at my expense!

So I've been looking for a new mom outfit-aka velour track suit-elastic wasteband-its only been 2 weeks folks, not getting into regular pants just yet, especially not with a csection. anyways, been to target, oldnavy, etc numerous times and never do they have the top size that matches the bottom size that I need-how difficult is that really? well, today at Target I just so happened upon a brown suit with fleur de lis (french symbol big in neworleans) on the jacket in cute blue-totally not important....so I grabbed the top and bottom sizes to match!!! YEAH! even went to the trouble of getting a tee-shirt to match! So I get home and rip it out of the bag to show Johnny I finally found what I've been looking for and BAM!!!!right on the BUTT of the pants in blinging big silver rhinestones is "ROYAL" about 4 inches tall!!!!! I died laughing and turned it around to show JOhnny, huge laughter everywhere! Seriously who wants the word ROYAL tattooed across their butt in 4 inch capital letters!!!!???? Guess I need to 'inspect' my articles of clothing BEFORE purchasing!
Needless to say its going back to the store-thanks Target but no thanks!

So the second story, obviously with Turner involved-almost every good story has Turner involved-he's hilarious and this is Pre-Molly. Turner's birthday is December 17, Molly's is December 19th. So he's opening a Birthday present and its this animal set mountain and has a huge gorrilla on it. Well, while opening we -me and Turner, Johnny had to go to work that night....found these coins things, but weren't sure what to do with them, so I saved them in the box...wait..where'd the box go? I asked Turner where the box went that had the coins in them? Of course he informed me that daddy took it out to the big trash can before he went to work. "Crap". So yes, I go dumpster diving, freezing cold and 10 months pregnant, looking for these coin dabloon things that we're not even sure what they go to. I dig through two trash bags until I'm frozen and nasty and go back inside trying to figure out how to tell Turner that we lost part of his new toy. I get inside and come up with , "I'm sorry buddy, I couldn't find the coins that go to the big gorrilla." Real nice huh? So, he runs to his room, I was devastated, big new huge toy from Granny and my punkin can't even play with it. Mind you I"m hormonal and huge and did I mention freezing? So he comes back a few minutes later and holds his hands up and says "mommy do you mean these coins? I put these monies in my piggy bank!"
I wanted to scream, but was too happy for him! The things we do for our kids!!!???!!!

More Molly

Look how big I am!!! NOt really! She's still so tiny! Doing better with the spit-up/puking. But still not great. Turner didn't spit up at all so I'm not real sure what is Ok spit up and what is too much? She has the most sensitive skin also. Which means tons of diaper changes, even in the middle of the night!
Turner has still been doing great with Molly. He can't stand to hear her fuss. Not because its loud, she very rarely cries. He gets so worried about her and comes running to me or Johnny. He's been such a character! He comes up with the craziest stories and has the most amazing memory! kinda scary. This picture of him is him trying to wink! We could be in trouble in the future!

My family visits!!!

How precious!?! My family came to visit from Louisiana and gave me and Johnny a much needed rest! My sister-Natalie, and my mom took turns waking up with Molly at night and let Johnny and I sleep! It was awesome! My dad cleaned my house from top to bottom, helped organize Turner's room with all his new toys and my laundry room! Yikes! We didn't get to do all the things we had wanted-show my sister's boyfriend, Neyland Stadium and go downtown but just staying at home and relaxing was well worth it. Thanks so much family for all your help and all the Christmas presents too! We had a blast and maybe next time can have a bigger house so that everyone's not sleeping on air mattresses. Sorry...Thanks again!
