Molly's 6 months old!

I know everyone says how fast time flies....so here's your proof!!! She's such a fun, good little baby! She sleeps like an angel. I had to wake her up this morning at 8:45am to take Turner to preschool. She's doing much better eating and I think will probably have no problems at our next check up. I'll let you know of course! Last time we weighed it was 14lbs 14oz which is still underweight but she may just be our lil petite one! She loves her daddy and her brother! She grins and giggles every time they walk in the room.
I'm already dreading having 2 birthdays 2 days apart the week before Christmas! What were we thinking?
We had a great time visiting Go Go and Grandad and the family in Louisiana and the kids (and the dog) were fabulous on the 11 hour drive down there. (not that I'm ready to jump in the car and do it again tomorrow, but they were good). I've got many pictures to post from that coming soon!

Mobile and Agile

So Molly starts off on her cute lil pink playmat and then will end up down the hall-literally! She's seriously all over the place! We are very close to crawling but mainly just rolling both ways and all over. Turner was never this mobile until he was walking. I wasn't ready to baby proof everything at 6 months old! The other pictures are when I asked Turner to go check on her in her room on her bumbo seat and then it got quiet for a few minutes and you moms know quiet is NOT GOOD! So when I went in there he said "hers was boring and needed more toys". So he piled all the toys up in front of her and her face lit up like it was Christmas. After a tough bout with our first ear infection-two antibiotics later-she's much better now and weighs a whopping 14lbs and 14 oz! She still sleeps like a champ and loves watching Turner. I have tons more pictures and hope to keep up better with blogging!

Yeah Doodlebugs!

Johnny's dad says I really should play the lottery because I always win stuff. This is one of the shirts I won on the Doodlebugs Designs blog and just had to get the dinosaur one for him too. He is practicing his "bouncer pose" and his dinosaur roar! He loves his sister so much and got mad at a waitress yesterday because she called Molly "sweetie" instead of "Molly"! She said geez he's not protective of her is he??? We should go back and show her our shirt! It's so fitting! Thanks Doodlebug Designs!!!!!

PSA: The humans are cloning!

You can't tell me she doesn't look just like her brother!!!!just dressed in pink and with a bow! I'm gonna post a baby pic of him and her just to prove it! She's 5 months now and just the best baby ever! She seriously sleeps 12 hours at night and is just very very happy! She loves her Turner and Mack-the sheltie-too! Turner and JOhnny are in Bristol at the races and camping this weekend so I'm sure I'll have lots more stories when they return! I love my "Turner stories"!!!

a little reminder...

This is a poem I got from Turner with his adorable picture on it from his preschool this week. What a great reminder what I'm really here for!!!!

A Mother's Mission

A mother's job is special
And carries strong demands.
With the molding of
the little life
God places in her hands.
Though her life may not
be glamorous.
The world will see her worth.
For 'tis true "The hands
that rock the cradle
Are the hands that rule the earth."
To bring her children up
in Christ.
Indeed is very much,
For the year will show
her value
By the lives, their lives,
will touch.

and a side of fries with that please.....

Ok so I was making tacos the other night and browning the beef in a skillet...Well, along comes Turner and says "mommy, can I help you cook?" so I say hesitantly..."well, what do you want to help me do?" so to appease him I gave him a piece of a tomato with a plastic knife and he went to town, shortly thereafter he came up next to me at the stove and pushed a chair next to me and says ...
"Mommy, is that chicken?"
slight chuckle " no, honey, that's not chicken"
"Well, is it ROAST BEAST?"
I died laughing, nearly fell on the floor and had to pick myself up and run back to the bedroom to tell Johnny! It was so funny!!!!so we had a lesson on Roast Beast and Ground Beef and all other sorts of meats!!!!So funny!!!!
