Trip to Chattanooga

What a crazy 2 1/2 days that was. Johnny was in training all last week in Chattanooga for work. So we had planned ahead of time on driving down and staying with him in his hotel room. Chattanooga has so many great family things to do. What we didn't plan on was....Molly getting sick on the drive down, the Children's museum being closed on Wednesday for winter break, both kids nearly drowning in the hotel pool, and chaos all around!
Molly cried the entire way down to Chattanooga on Tuesday. She was perfectly fine the entire day and I purposely did not give her a nap. So, sure enough I'm blessed with one of those kids when they cry too much or too hard they puke. yep, puked all in her new car seat just one exit away from the hotel. She also ran a super high fever that night and had both Johnny and I worried. Woke up Wednesday totally fine! I guess just some crazy virus or ears bothering her-who knows anymore. So we decided to go to the mall to have lunch on Wed and play at the playground in the mall and hit the Children's Discovery Museum on the way home Thursday in hopes of wearing everyone out for the ride home! It worked! Oh yeah the pool incident. So I told Turner to sit on the steps while I put Molly's ear gear on (plugs and head wrap). Only my kids.... well sure enough he ventured out into the deep-he said the waves took him back there! The "waves" from the indoor hotel pool! right. So there was my firrst lifeguard save- needless to say, he had to sit out of the pool for a good bit for not listening!
Then Molly decides she's done swimming-or so I thought- and wanted out. So I wrapped her up in a towl and she laid on the chair outside of the pool. Turner had been begging me to let him jump to me and me catch him. I finally gave in and he loved it. I was facing Molly the whole time and she was about asleep-so i thought- so Turner jumped again to me in the pool...at the SAME EXACT TIME-Molly jumped up and ran to me to jump in to me also! Turner was mid-air and Molly just dove into the pool at my feet. I grabbed her by the neck at my ankles with one hand and grabbed Turner in midair with my other hand! It was insane! To top it off they were BOTH laughing! I was in tears and yelled-"EVERYONE OUT OF THE POOL!" We left immediately and I swore that never ever again would I take both kids swimming by myself-I don't care if they are 20 and 24!!!! Which is just too bad because they BOTH are like little fishes! They LOVE the water! I was awake all night long, thinking what if this, what if that, what should I have done, etc etc... anyways, here's the happy pics before this event!!!
