What Were We Thinking???

So Johnny's got a "head cold" and I'm scheduled for a C-section this week and how did we decide to spend one of our last days as a family of 3??? We went to Dollywood!!!! Big mistake!!! We had already told Turner we were going before Johnny started feeling really congested and you know you can't tell a 3 1/2 year old something and then take it back especially 2 days before his birthday! We really went to see the lights and the shows, which were great! As we were walking out of one of the shows, it begins to downpour! Well, we hadn't ridden the train-huge deal- or had hot chocolate, so we hid out in another show until it was just sprinkling and then ran or waddled to the train. As we were getting off the train, another downpour! By this time we were just over it. Turner, by the way, thought that this whole thing was awesome, getting to splash in the puddles without mommy yelling and playing in the rain. Notice in the pictures we did NOT have any rain gear! So we got soaked! Pretty sure Johnny is gonna have to go to the dr tomorrow, just to get rid of this "head cold/sinus infection" before Friday when Molly is due! Doubt they would let him in the operating room sounding the way he is. So, I would ask you all to say a prayer but that seems selfish since it was our own fault that got us into it??? we did have a good time and got a story out of it and the smiles on Turner's face was pretty priceless!!!! PS. notice how huge I am!!!!

  1. Oh my goodness! Bless your hearts! It looks like Turner had a great time, and you did get some good pictures out of it. Ha! I bet you were so over it. I hope Johnny feels better soon before Molly comes! I know you have to be so ready. Connors birthday is Thursday, now I will always remember Molly's birthday! Have a great last week with just one or should I say two kids (Johnny)! Ha!

  2. Love the belly... and how in every picture Turner's head is turned to the right or left. Cute, cute.

    Happy Birthday, Turner!
